After the Germans invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944, Tzvi took part in his movement’s organization of underground activities: setting up bunkers, forging documents and obtaining money. He received his mobilization orders and enlisted in a forced labor unit. At the end of June Tzvi received forged documents from members of the movement and intended to desert but gave up his plan for fear of his fellow inmates being punished. At the end of September 1944, nevertheless, Tzvi decided to escape and arrived in the “Glass House” on 29, Vadász Street. Operating under the name of Bokros Pál, he engaged in the forgery and distribution of documents. In February 1945, about two weeks after the liberation, he left for Romania on his way to Eretz Israel (Palestine). He was among the settlers of Kibbutz Tze’elim and moved to Kfar Hahoresh.
